SpongeBob PrestonPants

Preston's 5th birthday was a big hit with the inhabitants of bikini bottom. It was filled with lots of under the sea fun. We feasted on Crabby Patties and SpongeBob Macaroni and Cheese. We raced to build the fastest crabby patty and had a crab walk relay. The kids also got a little crazy making their very own "sponge"Bob. I love the creativity. And ended the party with the many faces of spongebob. Happy birthday to my amazing little butter. We love you!

Emma's 7th birthday

Emma's 7th birthday party at Gym Cats. I think this is what started her love for gymnastics.

Summer Highlights

I feel like I should try to catch up on all the blogging I haven't done, but there is no way that will ever happen. So here are a bunch of pictures from our summer. This will be one of my longest posts since pictures are worth 1000 words and the great part is you won't have to read all those words. (I'm not one for reading). Enjoy our summer!

Dane's Birthday at Cowabunga Bay
We had the park to ourselves for the first hour. It was a little chilly but the water was like a bathtub so no one even noticed the temp. They all had a great time.
Happy 10th birthday Dane! We love you!

A trip to Lagoon and Late Night at Cowabunga
I was just too big and pregnant and tired and hot to do anymore than this.

Happy birthday to Julie who shares the same birthday as Maggie and Calvin whose birthday is 2 days later.

Oh wait I did do something else. We went to lunch at Dear lizzie (the cutest store and restaurant ever) where the girls tried on prom dresses and then headed to Nordstrom for their first Mac makeover.

Oh and she got her first phone and texted me all night from her bedroom. She's one happy tween!

Happy Birthday Justin

Happy Birthday to the greatest Dad and Husband in the world.  Justin had to work late on his birthday which didn't leave us much time to celebrate, so the kids and I made a plan. He gets 3 hours for lunch, so I decided to pull the kids out of school early enough to get home before he did and then we would surprise him and take him out to lunch. Well I think he changed his plans about 3 times and I had to think fast and make adjustments and still try not to let him know anything was up.

Well after he said he would go get gas and meet me somewhere, I insisted that he just go straight home and then we would leave from there. He knew something was up, but he didn't know what, so he was still surprised when the kids jumped out from their hiding places. They thought it was so great.

We had a fun lunch together and then he took off yesterday to go ride quads with friends. Hope he had a fun birthday.

Happy Birthday!
We love you!!!
I loved Preston's hiding place. He just laid down the beanbag and covered his eyes. He's at that stage where if he can't see you, you can't see him. He does is all the time. He was right out in the open.

Preston's Birthday

Our little boy turned three last week. We had a small family party for him to celebrate. He's funny, everytime we told him it was his bithday, he would say "no, it's your birthday" For some reason he just didn't want it to be his birthday. But when we finally got to the presents and cake, he liked it. Although, I think he is the only 3 year old I know that asked for help when opening his presents. He was also the only one year old I know who didn't even want to touch his cake on his first birthday. This boy must have an aversion to birthdays. These glasses were in the goodie bags. He would put these on and scare me and then when I would act afraid, he would take them off and say, "It's just me, Preston."
I could not get him to look away from his cake. He would put his head up, but would not take his eyes off that next bite of cake.
Cute!!!
Make a wish little buddy.

Preston is such a blessing in our lives. He is one of the best, sweetest, smartest kids I know. We all love him to pieces. Here is a little scrapbook of his life. Wasn't he just the cutest baby?
